President's Thoughts - We are working behind the scenes

Contact your Chapter President for the members log in. Please do not share the members log in with non-members.

Admiral Coligny Chapter has added 16 new members in 2020 and 2 new junior members.

Our Fort Caroline Chapter has added 2 new members.

The 2021 Scholarship Form will be updated. All requirements MOST BE MET to receive an award for 2021.

For 2020 the State awarded four Allen Parker Scholarships. These went to:

Douglas Poole - a new recipient - who is attending Florida Polytechnic University in Lakeland, Florida

Hunter Reilly - a scholarship renewal recipient attending Florida State College at Jacksonville, Florida

Olga Godwin-Intriago - a scholarship renewal recipient attending the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and

Marcus Dangl - a Huguenot member of the Admiral de Coligny Chapter and a scholarship renewal recipient attending Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.

We have had these deaths to report this year.

Col. Edward D. Sullivan - long time active member of the

Louis DuBois Chapter passed in March.

Cynthia Van Buren - Historian of the Louis DuBois

Chapter passed in May.

Alice Hornback - long time active member and most

resent past Treasure of the Jean Calvin Chapter

passed in June. Ted, Alice's husband of 63 years is

also a full member and past Treasure of the Jean

Calvin Chapter

Mary Mixson - long time member of the Admiral Gaspard de Coligny Chapter, passed on October 10.

Her daughter Mary Mixson Lewis, continues as a member of the Society and our Chapter, in

which she serves as our current Chaplain. Mary Mixson's cheerful manner will be sorely missed.

Josephine (Jo) Bahn beloved mother of Betsy and Kathie Bahn passed November 2nd. Wife of most

recent past State President David Bahn. Everyone of these wonder souls are or were members

of the Fort Caroline Chapter.

Please remember these these members and their families in your prayers. We commend their souls into the ever lasting arms of our Lord and Savior.

Somethings New:

I am setting up a training session / training sessions with all Chapter Presidents. Melba Bartush our State Registrar sent out the first sets of documents for registrars on the new 2020/2021 requirements from National.

As soon as we get through the holidays, I am setting up some on-line workshops that will run through our website. Bare with me. I am train-able. Shooting the video is not the issue. Setting up the "members only area" of the web page is my issue. If you know how to do this and you want to give me a hand, give me a call.

Many things going on behind the scenes as we work on goals and projects starting in the fall.
